‘Swedish govt should apologise at any cost’

KarachI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori condemning Swedish incident demanded from Swedish government to punish those involved in incident severely. At press conference he said that every Muslim begins with Holy Quran and ends with it, desecration of Holy Quran cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Governor said that Swedish government’s attitude is very regrettable, if Swedish government does not show any progress on this incident, then next course of action will be protest. He said that today followers of other religions have also condemned this heartbreaking incident by expressing their anger. All religions have full freedom in Pakistan, but unfortunately, Swedish government has failed to control anti-religious acts.
We call conference with people belonging to all religions, scholars and masajid to discuss future course of action. He said that when such an incident happens in Pakistan, then everyone including government condemns it and immediate action is taken against elements involved in such incidents, but it is regrettable that Swedish government has not yet taken any action. I hope Ambassador of Sweden will definitely send my letter to his country. In this regard, I will also send another letter to OIC through Foreign Office and this initiative is not as Governor but as Muslim. Christian community is peaceful community and Christian community has nothing to do with this incident Chairman of All Pakistan Sikh Youth Council Sardar Magan Singh said that entire Sikh community strongly condemns this incident, it is not acceptable in any case.
Sikh community enjoys complete freedom in Pakistan. Salim Michael Advocate said that insulting any religion is intolerable, entire community cannot be blamed for any one incident. All Pakistan Maharaj Council Chairman Goswami Vijaygarh Maharaj said that holy book is highly respected by followers of any religion, Hindu community also condemns desecration of Holy Quran. Social activist Junaid Ahmed Khan also present at the presser including number of leaders belonging to different religions including Emuwal Saads, Pandit Mahesh Sharma and Javed Gul.
