KARACHI: Sindh government announced summer vacations for government and private colleges. According to notification, government and private colleges will remain closed from June 1 to July 31 across Sindh on account of summer vacations. Earlier, Sindh Education Department announced summer vacations in all private and public sector educational institutions.

According to notification, summer vacation in all public and private institutions in Sindh will be observed from June 1 to July 31. Sindh Education Secretary stated that dates for summer vacations in schools were announced as per decision made by steering committee for educational institutes.

It should be noted that decision was taken in steering committee meeting on education held earlier this year. “In pursuance of decisions taken in steering committee meeting on education, all public and private institutions under administrative control of School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh shall remain closed from June 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023 as summer vacation,” statement issued read.
