Suicide attack in Kabul kills 6, several injured

Kabul: A suicide attack not far from Afghanistan’s foreign ministry killed six civilians and wounded several others, interior ministry said.
Attacker was identified by Afghan forces but explosives he carried detonated and “Killed six civilians and wounded a number of others”, ministry spokesman Abdul Nafy Takor tweeted. Blast occurred in front of business centre near foreign ministry. Italian non-governmental organisation Emergency, which operates hospital in capital, confirmed it had received two dead and 12 wounded, including child. Monday’s blast was second attack near foreign ministry in Kabul in less than three months and first since holy month of Ramadhan.
