Sufism tendencies natural requirement of man: Dr Syed Azizul Rehman

KARACHI: Regional Da'wah Center Sindh Karachi, International Islamic University, Islamabad has started weekend courses since last few months. The first course in this series consisted of Fin Dawat, which lasted for six weeks.

The second course titled Sufism, Introduction, Objectives, Problems has been started from this week. On the first day, Dr. Syed Azizul Rehman, in charge of Regional Da'wah Center (Sindh), Karachi, while highlighting the need and reality of Sufism, explained the background of Sufism, and presented the history of its tradition in the world religions and explained why other nations and In religions, this tradition took the form of monasticism, and how Islam presented it in its original form. He said that this term was introduced later like the term Fiqh and Ilm Kalam, but its reality has been there since the beginning.

He also shed light on the philosophy of Sufism, reality, objectives, causes of forms and basic terms in the first day's session. 25 madrasas, teachers and students participated in this meeting.
