The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, in collaboration with other groups, has been heating up the market for carrying out attacks from the Afghan border on the instructions of enemy forces and entering Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to carry out targeted and suicide attacks in our beloved homeland.

The officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army are busy foiling them with the same intensity, and hundreds of terrorists have been killed, injured or arrested so far.  The infiltration into Pakistani territory from the Afghan border with the force that needs to be crushed was demonstrated brilliantly in the form of two different incidents in the Makeen area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, in which the army soldiers foiled the enemy's intentions and killed 12 terrorists.  However, in a fierce exchange of fire, the Pakistan Army 16 brave men have sacrificed their lives. Of course, the nation salutes its sons who are guarding the country’s difficult borders with the spirit of martyrdom for the sake of protecting the Pak land.

President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have condemned both the terrorist attacks. They paid tribute to the martyred security forces. The President and the Prime Minister prayed for the highest ranks of the martyrs and expressed their condolences to their families.  The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army has said in its statement that the security forces are determined to strengthen the country’s borders and end the scourge of terrorism.  The sacrifices of the brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve. The successful operations by the security forces to tighten the siege around terrorists are a sign that the day is not far when the homeland will be completely cleansed of terrorism. The successful operations by the security forces to tighten the siege around Fitna-ul-Kharij are a sign that the day is not far when the homeland will be completely cleansed of terrorism. TTP, a threat to world peace. The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the majority of the terrorist incidents that have been seen in the country since the establishment of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

It has intensified its operations by merging several small terrorist groups. In the context of this situation, this warning by the Pakistani representative to the United Nations is a moment of reflection for the international community, which states that the TTP, the largest terrorist group operating in Afghanistan, may emerge as an offshoot of Al-Qaeda and pursue an agenda of destabilizing neighboring countries.  Addressing the Security Council, Pakistan’s acting representative Usman Jadoon said that the Afghan border near Pakistan in Afghan territory is a safe haven for the outlawed TTP, consisting of 6,000 fighters, from where there have been several attempts to infiltrate and incidents of firing on Pakistani security personnel.  According to the statement of the Pakistani representative, Pakistan’s security and border officials have seized some modern weapons while combating the cross-border operations of the outlawed TTP.  The Afghan interim government received the funds from the reserves left by foreign forces.  The Pakistani delegate said that the banned TTP, as an offshoot of Al-Qaeda, is acting as an umbrella for other groups and the terrorists receive financial support from our enemy (India). The potential threat of terrorism posed by the banned TTP to Pakistan and other countries in the region needs to be understood.

The international community should adopt a joint strategy in this regard before terrorists get a new opportunity to destroy world peace. After the withdrawal of the American army from Afghanistan, the two countries had the opportunity to increase the traditional relations, in the comprehensive negotiations held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the agreement to not allow their territory to be used against each other was implemented.  After that, the Afghans Taliban government has not been able to prove the friendship and brotherhood of the past. Instead of expelling the outlawed TTP from its territory as per the agreement, it has not taken any notice of its terrorist attacks on Pakistan, which has tension has arisen between the two ountries.  Relations of friendship and brotherhood were hit. On the other hand, the Taliban are saying that the Doha agreement is related to the United States and Afghanistan, the rest of the countries have nothing to do with it, and that the current terrorist attacks in Pakistan are an internal matter of Pakistan. This position of the Afghan government is actually a cover-up of the facts.  According to the Doha agreement, the territory of Afghanistan should not be used for terrorism in any country.

The Afghan government is encouraging terrorism in the region by providing safe havens to terrorist elements and increasing the supply of modern weapons. It may be mentioned here that Pakistan Govt had taken serious notice of the increasing cross border attacks in Pakistan from Afghan side and the rising activities of the IS-K and the Pakistani Taliban in Pakistan from across the Afghan soil and had warned the Afghan government to take stern action against the militants and terrorists to wipe them out, otherwise Pakistan will be justified in taking action against the terrorists in Afghanistan within Afghanistan.
