Karachi: Among role of women supporting families is also to work for country’s stability, advancement and long-term growth.

Women’s formal and informal labour can transform community from relatively autonomous society to participant in national economy.

Ayesha Ikram, Afifa Shoaib, Barira Zahid and Muskan Ali Muhammad students of Business Administration Department Jinnah University for Women (JUW) were of opinion, “We always maintained no nation can ever be worthy of its existence that cannot take its women along with men.”  No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men. There are two powers in world. “One is sword and other is pen. However, there is third power stronger than both, that of women.” In Pakistan, empowering women is necessary to drive growth and development that is essential for reviving staggering economy. These students are working on different community development projects under guidance of course instructor Maria Syed.

We have targeted needy women without damaging their self respect through providing them with need of daily life and business opportunities.

They have great potential to lift nation, which is plagued with problems. Fulfilling social, economic, political, cultural and educational need cannot be ignored. We need to utilise their talent in right place.

“For this purpose sponsorship is needed. Noman Naeem owner of ‘Legacy Ballroom’ and a business man helped us in starting businesses for women by giving sponsorship” is commendable.
