Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that “Strong government” has people’s backing, not “Establishment’s support”.

PTI Chief in jibe at ruling coalition government, while addressing his supporters virtually said that country’s institutions are being destroyed as they have asked to break his party. “Those institutions that were supposed to stop crimes have been tasked to end PTI,” he said and appealed that he be briefed on “Road map” for future. “What I have understood is that new king’s party is being made. Those who have left PTI are being added to that king’s party,” claimed Imran.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, he insisted is losing support as people are not willing to attend its public gathering. He added that PML-N is connected with all “Cruelty” that is happening in country and wondered if this is way that coalition is supposed to take country out of mess.

“Don’t be under illusion that gathering people and having establishment’s back will help in getting rid of country’s problems.” He said that government which comes through people’s mandate can only take major decisions. He repeated that country will not survive till supremacy of law is established in country. In address, he responded to PML-N and Pakistan Peoples’ Party response that they sustained much worse pressure. However, he also claimed that cases that were pursued during his PTI’s tenure were created before they had come to power.

Khan claimed during time his party was in power they never picked up women or entered people’s homes.
