Karachi: SSP District Central directed SHOs for strict action against drug peddlers, gutkamawa dealers and street criminals in their respective police station at a meeting held at SSP Office. He said that there is zero tolerance policy against drugs and narcotics and that District police should continue operations against such people whether influential.

Better investigation and case registration would ensure positive outcome to logical end as criminals get bail on weak prosecution. District Central Operation Police along with investigation should make better strategy against such accused, he added.

He stressed upon carrying out snap-checking on daily basis and speeding up action against suspects involved in street crimes, including drug peddlers. Action should be taken against hidden and fugitive drug dealers and gutkamawa dealers at all cost, SSP instructed.
