KARACHI: SSP District Central Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui made surprise visit to Sharifabad Police Station to review daily operations and affairs of police station.

During visit, SSP Siddiqui inspected police station and met with officers on duty, including lady police officers LPC Samir Shujaat and LPC Veronica and Sepoy Abdul Rasool. CC-III certificates were awarded to officers for their good performance. However, ASI Abdul Majeed was found absent from duty, and show-cause notice was issued to him. SSP Siddiqui also issued necessary directives to SDPO Liaquatabad and SHO Sharifabad regarding security arrangements of police station and other matters.

SSP recorded his observations and instructions in police station’s register number 13. This surprise visit is part of ongoing efforts to ensure effective functioning of police stations in district and to maintain high standards of performance and discipline among police personnel.
