Senior Pakistani actor Tauqeer Nasir has alleged that Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan copied his work in one of his hit films without giving him due credit.

In an interview, Nasir revealed that Shah Rukh Khan often praises his work and sends his regards to various people. He acknowledged Shah Rukh Khan as a talented actor but expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition for his own contributions.  Nasir elaborated that Shah Rukh's role in the hit film 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' was a direct copy of his character from the drama 'Parwaaz'. The actor highlighted that even the detail of an injured leg, depicted in the film, was borrowed from his portrayal in the drama. According to Nasir, 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' was essentially based on the story of 'Parwaaz', written by the renowned author Mustansar Hussain Tarar. He asserted that Shah Rukh, and more importantly, the filmmaker Karan Johar, should have given him credit for this inspiration.
