KARACHI: Saraiki Professionals Forum (SPF) has expressed deep concern over the target killing of Saraiki labourers in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and demanded a judicial inquiry into these incidents.

Patron of Saraiki Professional Forum Prof Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan, said in a statement that the target killing of Saraiki workers in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is open terrorism and such incidents are increasing. He said that Saraiki is the most peaceful community of Pakistan but target killing is being done in Balochistan, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan since several years. He said that no one will be allowed to commit genocide of Saraikis and protest will be held on every forum against killing of labourers.

He said that the federal and provincial governments have completely failed to provide security to the lives and property of Saraikis, which is a matter of grave concern. The officials of Saraiki Professionals Forum have demanded from the federal government to remove Federal Minister for Interior from his post and announced compensation for the victim families.
