Special plane carrying ex-COAS body lands at Karachi Airport

KARACHI: A special plane carrying body of Pervez Musharraf former Chief of Army Staff and President who breathed his last on Sunday in Dubai touched down at Karachi Airport.

Musharraf’s wife Sehba Musharraf, son and daughter accompanied coffin. His funeral will be held at Malir Cantonment’s Polo Ground. Former President will be laid to rest in Army graveyard near Gate 5 of Malir Cantt. As per sources, funeral prayer of Musharraf will be held at Malir Cantonment’s Polo Ground.

He was hospitalised for three weeks in June last year. “Going through difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning.”
