Karachi: Special persons who win laurels for the country are role models and they are pride of Pakistan. Whenever given opportunities, they have turned successful in their endeavours and have reached the victory podium.  We pin great expectation on them for the upcoming Berlin Special Olympics in June this year.

These views were expressed by prominent social figure Iqbal Lakhani, who along with chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan, Ronak Lakhani, distributed prizes among the successful participants and distributed medals and cash prizes of 8th Lakson Investments SOP Unified Marathon under the auspices of Special Olympics Pakistan at DHA Phase-VIII. On this occasion, Faysal Bank CEO Yousuf Hussain announced the sponsorship of five national team players for the Special Olympics scheduled to be staged in Germany in June. Later on, Ronak Lakhani, expressed her gratitude to the participants and organizers of the marathon and vowed to organize the marathon next year with more enthusiasm.
