ISLAMABAD: Speaker and Deputy Speaker of National Assembly (NA) paid tribute to Kashmiri martyrs of July 13, 1931 in strong words.

Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf in message on Martyrs' Day said according to UN resolutions, solution of Kashmir issue is indispensible for establishment of sustainable peace in region. Day of July 13, 1931 will always be remembered as Black Day in history.

22 protestors were martyred by Army of Dogra Maharaja for calling Azan on July 13, 1931. Blood of martyrs of July will never go in vain. Thousands of sons have been martyred in occupied Kashmir for past seven decades.

Desecration of women and thousands of incidents of rape have taken place in occupied Kashmir. Hands of so-called democratic government of India are stained with blood of thousands of Kashmiri martyrs.

Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self-determination on every forum. Parliament of Pakistan is determined to peaceful solution of Kashmir issue.

The United Nations should take notice of atrocities inflicted on Kashmiri people by India.
