Rawalpindi: Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Jhallar Algad, North Waziristan District. During conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists. Troops effectively engaged terrorists’ location. Resultantly, five terrorists got killed.

Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from killed terrorists. Killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.

However, during intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nasir Khan 25 years of age, resident of South Waziristan District having fought gallantly embraced shahadat.  Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in area.
