Sindh to face academic year delay: Sources

KARACHI: Fresh academic year in Sindh is likely to be delayed as process of printing textbooks has not been initiated yet, sources inside Sindh Text Book Board claimed.

According to notification, meeting of Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee has been called to address issue, while sources claimed that meeting will approve plan to start academic year in August. Sources further revealed that conflict emerged between Publisher and Education Department resulting in delay in printing of textbooks. Meanwhile, Sindh Education Department indicated that minimum of four months is required for printing and delivery of books.
