Sindh ready to work with Fed Govt on curriculum reforms

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah chaired a meeting attended by Director National Curriculum Council Dr. Mariam Chughtai and Chief Advisor (Curriculum) Dr. Fouzia Khan.  Sindh Education Minister said that we are happy that our stand on curriculum has been recognised by federation.

Recognition of provinces is a symbol of national unity, which previous government tried to influence in name of Single Nation Curriculum.  Addressing meeting, he said that efforts are being made to ensure that any behaviour promoting violence or intolerance and extremism in society will not be made part of textbooks and such behaviour be discouraged.
