Sindh Rangers, Police in action to grab criminals from neck in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and Police have conducted combing operation in different areas of Karachi during which house-to-house was searched. The police and Rangers conducted a combing operation in Kemari, Gulshan e Sikandarabad, during which the entry and exit routes of the area were sealed and house-to-house searches were also conducted.

In this regard, SSP Kemari said that the combing operation is being conducted against the criminal elements and the suspects are being checked through the biometric device.

Police said that nine suspects have been detained during the operation while the operation was going on for three hours in Gulshan e Sikandarabad.

On the other hand, a major search operation of the Rangers has started in the Kati Pahari and Sharrah-e-Noor Jehan areas of Karachi, during which the entry and exit routes of the area have been sealed and the Rangers are conducting a house-to-house search.

Sources said that all persons coming and going to the area are being checked while police rangers and women personnel are also involved in the search operation.

Meanwhile, there was a two-way exchange of fire near the Korangi Nasir Jump area of Karachi, as a result of which one accused was arrested in injured condition while two accomplices escaped.

The police said that the accused was identified as Junaid while weapons and stolen goods were recovered from the possession of the accused. Joint operation of police and Rangers arrested 2 accused of most wanted Uzir Baloch Group Lyari gang war involved in several cases, SSP City Shabir Ahmad Sithar informed. Shakeel aka Commando wanted by police has Rs one million head money.

Weapons were recovered from accused, accused was included in Head Money list issued by higher officers, SSP City.
