Sindh Rangers, police gives ‘befitting’ response to terrorists, crushing all in no-time

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) soon after receiving information about the terrorists attack on Karachi Police Chief Office located at Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal, the Rangers Quick Response Force personnel reached the spot and initiated meticulous operation.  Brigadier Tauqeer of the Counter-Terrorism Wing (Qalandar Force) led the operation. Brigadier, Wing Commanders and Rangers personnel belonging to the Counter-Terrorism Wing (Qalandar Force) participated in the operation which was jointly carried out by Karachi police team including SSU commandos. 

The joint action conducted by the Rangers' counter-terrorism wing resulted in clearing off the entire building of Karachi Police Chief Office. During the bid to exterminate out terrorists, sub-inspector Taimur of Rangers was martyred while 7 personnel received injuries during the gun-battle against the terrorists. It must be mentioned here that 3 terrorists were killed during the operation. The terrorists blew themselves up with suicide jackets while they also used hand grenades along with modern weapons. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Rangers Sindh is highly compatible with full capacity and robust training to eradicate the menace of terrorism in any form by giving a befitting response to the enemies.

The morale of the cops remained at pinnacle. Security Forces including Pakistan Army, Rangers and Police fought bravely and foiled the terrorist attack in no time.
