Sindh police constable found involved in snatching

KARACHI: Sindh police constable was found involved in snatching incident in Karachi. As per details, Airport Police Station police arrested two suspects in raid. Three suspects snatched bike in jurisdiction of Airport Police Station on April 16. Police recovered bike and pistols from two arrested suspects Abdullah and Zeeshan Shafiq. Ppolice officials said that Zeeshan Shafiq is police constable and he is deployed in SSP investigation east. Earlier, Senior Superintendent Police Malir Hassan Sardar revealed that two policemen and private persons were found involved in abduction for ransom case.

Arrested SI Shahid belongs to South Zone police, whereas, SI Mushtaq belongs to Reserve police. SSP Sardar said former station house officer at Shah Latif Town police station has been suspended and an investigation was launched. Additional Inspector General Karachi Javed Alam Odho’s detailed report of crimes revealed that metropolis has witnessed 140 street crime incidents within 24 hours including 36 incidents of mobile phones and cash snatching.
