Sindh Minister Nasir Shah announces compensation, jobs to heirs of KWSB’s martyred official

KARACHI: Sindh Minister Local Government and Chairman KWSB Nasir Hussain Shah announced compensation of Rs 2.5 million to next of kin of martyred Furqan Akhtar and family members of Furqan Akhtar will also be given permanent government jobs. Supervisor of KWSB was martyred in firing by unidentified persons near Hub Reservoir two days ago. 

In a video statement issued along with CEO Syed Salahuddin Ahmed and COO of KWSB Asadullah Khan, he said that family members of Shaheed Furqan Akhtar will be given full support and cooperation from Sindh government and KWSB. He said that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered IG Sindh Police and CCPO Karachi to arrest killers of Shaheed Furqan Akhtar immediately.
