Sindh govt to press Centre for funds for flood victims’ rehabilitation

Karachi: Sindh government decided to seek funds from federal government in budget 2023 for flood victims’ rehabilitation. Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto chairing virtual meeting, attended by Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani and Shazia Marri discussed regarding budget for year 2023.

During virtual meeting participants expressed their concerns regarding budget for 2023. Issues related to rehabilitation of affected individuals due to floods will be presented before federal government for consideration and decision-making. Meeting concluded with resolve to prioritise matters concerning restoration of flood affected victims.
