Sindh govt to introduce public sector taxi service: Sharjeel

KARACHI: Sindh government announced to introduce public sector taxi service to facilitate people in province. Talking to media here, Sindh Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Memon said that number of Buses in Bus services introduced by Sindh government will be increased from next financial year.

Government announced launching an electric taxi service in Karachi, According to Sharjeel Memon, taxi service will be started in new financial year. He said that youth would get employment with start of electric taxi service. He added that 150 taxis would be launched in first phase. There will be separate pink taxis for women and drivers of these pink taxis will also be women. Red colour was suggested for taxis of men.
