KARACHI: PPP leader  and Advisor to CM, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that Sindh government is doing its best to promote sports throughout the province, especially Lyari men's football and boxing.  He was speaking at boxing ceremony in the city.

While addressing the opening ceremony of on this occasion, Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Boxing Federation Asghar Baloch, Vice President of Olympic Association Syed Mahfouz-ul-Haq and other top boxing figures were present with him.  Asghar Baloch thanked Murtaza Wahab and Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon.  He said: I and my association are grateful to both of you for your cooperation with us. God willing, with the support of Sindh government, our players will perform better.

Later, Murtaza Wahab along with Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon, Engineer Mahfouzul Haque and Asghar Baloch inaugurated Ali Muhammad Qumbrani Boxing Arena.
