KARACHI: The Sindh Governor has expressed his deep disappointment and frustration over the Pakistan cricket team's dismal performance in the Champions Trophy. The Governor's sentiments echo those of millions of cricket fans across the country who had high hopes for the team's success.

"The team's batting line-up has fallen apart, and the bowlers are struggling to make an impact. It's disheartening to see the team's performance deteriorate to this extent," said the Governor.

"If the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) can build world-class stadiums, he should also focus on building a team that can compete at the same level."

The Governor emphasized the need for a team with exceptional skills, comprising talented batsmen, bowlers, and fielders. "If we can build a team that meets the highest standards, our fans will never be disappointed again," he added.

The Sindh Governor had earlier announced a reward of Rs. 1 crore for the team if they won the Champions Trophy. "It would have been a historic moment, and I would have been delighted to present the reward to the team," he said.

The Governor's comments come at a time when the Pakistan cricket team is facing intense scrutiny and criticism for their poor performance in international tournaments. The team's fans are eagerly waiting for a turnaround, and the Governor's words reflect their sentiments.
