KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has expressed deep concern over recent traffic accident in Site area, resulting in loss of precious lives and injuries to several individuals.

Governor has offered his condolences to families of deceased, praying for their forgiveness, elevated ranks and patience for bereaved. He has emphasised need for improved road safety measures to prevent such incidents in future. Governor Tessori has pointed out that increasing number of traffic accidents in Karachi raises questions about performance of relevant authorities. He has stressed that traffic department must play an active role in ensuring road fitness certificates for all vehicles and no vehicle should be allowed on road without valid fitness certificate. Governor has directed concerned authorities to take immediate action to address root causes of traffic accidents and ensure safety of citizens on roads.
