Sindh Gov paid rich tribute to Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited tomb of Shaheed Millat Liaquat Ali Khan on his martyrdom day. He offered fateha at shrine, placed flowers and prayed for development province and country. He recorded his comments in guest book regarding Liaquat Ali Khan, first Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Later talking to media representatives, Governor said that he came here to pay homage to Liaquat Ali Khan. Country's first elected Prime Minister was martyred. Governor said that Pakistan was love of Shaheed Nation, for construction and development of which he worked day and night.

Tessori said that he along with Quaid-e-Azam struggled to stabilise new state, even after death of father of nation. Governor said that young generation needs to be made aware of services of Shaheed Millat because way Liaquat Ali Khan served country and nation is unparalleled. 

To a question about by-elections, Governor said that people must use their vote and all parties must abide by code of conduct and recognise victory and defeat as this is beauty of democracy.  On another question, he said that we need to unite so that problems faced by country and province can be solved.
