Sindh Gov, Chinese envoy discuss bilateral ties, investment

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and newly appointed Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong discussed ties between two countries at Governor House. In meeting, bilateral relations, investment, trade promotion and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. Governor said that Pakistan-China bilateral relations are becoming more stable with time, he said that they are willing to increase investment and trade from China, Kamran Tessori said that he hopes that your appointment will prove to be important in this regard. Chinese Consul General said that China has always attached importance to relations with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Governor visited Burns Road. He was welcomed by residents, people present took pictures and selfies with him. Governor said that he is going to America after Eid and bring latest laptop for IT programme. He said that he is forming volunteer team of 500 people at town level, this team will ensure that no one sleeps hungry and no child misses school due to lack of fees. These volunteers will work to identify and solve urban problems in their areas. In this regard, I ask all citizens to work for city beyond political affiliation.
He said that bell is being installed at gate of Governor’s House. In case of severe emergency, people can ring bell from 12:00 pm to 8:00 am. He said that water, electricity, gas and street crimes are problem in entire city. Governor said that citizens cooperated and supported in month of Ramadhan. Last evening people broke fast at Governor’s House. Mufti Muneebur Rehman gave special address.
