Sindh Gov addresses Youth Parliament, outlines vision for a prosperous future

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized the importance of delivering the fruits of democracy to the common man, stressing that the government's primary responsibility is to provide basic necessities like employment, electricity, gas, and water.
Speaking to a 70-member delegation of Youth Parliament Pakistan, Governor Tessori reiterated that the government's role is not to engage in politics, but to serve the people. He highlighted the Army Chief's initiative to establish the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to stabilize the economy.
Governor Tessori reminded the youth that Pakistan was achieved to live a life of freedom and to build a better future. He cautioned against criticizing the country on social media, emphasizing that it only leads to defamation and undermines national progress.
The Governor shared his efforts to empower the youth, citing the example of 50,000 young individuals receiving IT education at the Governor's House without any external support. He also mentioned the distribution of millions of ration bags to deserving individuals and the open-door policy at the Governor's House to address public grievances.
Governor Tessori urged the youth to make the Governor's House a model for others to follow, emphasizing the importance of thoughtful consideration and determination in propelling the country forward.
He highlighted the vast potential of Balochistan's resources, which could eradicate national debt, and acknowledged the significant contribution of Pakistanis to Qatar's development.
