Sindh eager to enhance trade ties with Iran: Tessori

KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, and Governor of Khorasan, Dr. Gholam Hussein Muzaffari, addressed a joint press conference at the Governor House in Karachi, highlighting the importance of bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and Iran.

Governor Tessori welcomed the arrival of Iranian investors, stating that Sindh is eager to engage in mutual trade with Iran.

He assured the Iranian business community that Sindh will provide a secure environment for investment, leveraging the province's strategic location and economic potential.

The Governor Sindh invites Iranian entrepreneurs to explore opportunities in the Sindh province. He announced plans to lead a delegation to Iran, accompanied by representatives from the Chamber and Federation, to strengthen economic ties between the two nations.

Governor Muzaffari expressed his gratitude for Governor Tessori's invitation and reiterated Khorasan's interest in investing in Pakistan.

He acknowledged the significance of the memorandum of understanding (MoUs) signed during the visit of former Iranian President Raisi, ensuring that these agreements will be implemented in the future.

The joint press conference marked a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan-Iran relations, fostering economic cooperation, and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations.
