Sindh Culture Day celebrated at Governor House

Karachi: A ceremony was held at Governor in connection with Sindh Culture Day. Governor Kamran Tessori, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Chief Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani, Consul Generals Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh and number of people attended ceremony.
Gathering appreciated initiative of Governor. Hassan Sirhindu, Naronda Malini and Fahimul Faqir entertained audience with Sindh traditional songs and instruments. Tessori said that he is proud to be son of Pakistan and Karachi, he is very proud to be resident of Sindh. He said that purpose of this event today is to connect people with each other and celebrate centuries-old civilisation of province. He said that I am on a mission to create unity and brotherhood among people of province.
This land of Shah Latif cradle of peace and love and sufis and qalandars always taught love. Sindh teaches sacrifice, brotherhood and love, Ajrak and Sindhi hat are our pride and an important part of culture. Culture is an effective tool to bring people from all over world closer to each other and this is reason why culture of Sindh seems to be spread all over world today. Kamran Tesori said that it is important for all stakeholders to work together for development of province.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that way Sindh Governor organised this ceremony is an expression of his love for land of Sindh.
