ISLAMABAD: The Sindh caretaker government has contested the Supreme Court's decision opposing civilian trials in military courts.

The plea argues that the SC overlooked legal aspects and circumstances in its ruling. Sindh authorities have urged the court to suspend its verdict until a review decision, as accused individuals seek trials in military courts.

The federal government previously informed the SC about the commencement of civilian trials in military courts following the court's order in August.
