KARACHI: Caretaker Sindh Law Minister Barrister Muhammad Omer Soomro announced that Sindh government will introduce facility of livestreaming of court proceedings in province.
Addressing gathering of lawyers of Hyderabad District Bar, caretaker Minister said that government was trying to resolve genuine problems of lawyers’ community on priority. Minister said he would send summary to interim Chief Minister to get his approval for plan of livestreaming of court proceedings.
Live streaming would enable people to know about cases being adjudicated in any court.
He said that owing to live streaming facility, there would not be any interruption in court proceedings owing to commonly occurring issues like lawyers and litigants being in another city.
He said interim government would provide books, laptops and other necessary facilities to bar associations. Later, talking to media, he said that Justice Isa had been victimised for two years as baseless reference had been filed against him.
