ISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman in response to Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s statement lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership for showing an “Irresponsible attitude” over parliamentary role and brushed aside PTI’s accusations of government’s non-serious approach on matter. In series of tweets, she criticised recent statement by PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who claimed that PTI was ready to play its parliamentary role but government was not serious.

Senator Rehman said PTI leader had confirmed that its members were willing to return to Parliament, but it appeared PTI members were sitting out only “Because of ego of one person” (Imran Khan).

“Minister of Foreign Affairs represented government, whereas reaction of PTI leader to foreign minister’s proposal was proof of Shah Mahmood Qureshi insincerity”.
