Singer Aima Baig has been censured by Sheraz Uppal regarding new controversy following release of her new song 'Funkari.'

As Aima Baig's new song 'Funkari' is being highly praised by her fans since its release, Sheraz Uppal came to school her regarding writing and composing of song. Aima claimed that she co-wrote lyrics of new song in collaboration with Shakil Sohail.

In recent interview, Aima Baig revealed that it took her three years to write this song, and she was apprehensive about releasing her first solo track in her career. However, another singer Sheraz Uppal has contradicted Aima Baig's statement, claiming that he himself had written 'Funkari' entirely.

According to Shiraz Uppal, his name is present in credits of song on Universal Music India and Aima Baig's YouTube channel, but she forgot to give him credit herself.
