CHAKWAL: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wouldn’t achieve anything from his US visit.

Imran Khan said that despite being in government for past 14 years, PPP could not complete work on Right Bank Canal on river Sindh, adding that thieves of Sindh have sent funds of Right Bank Canal project to Dubai.

Turning his guns towards PM Shehbaz Sharif, PTI Chairman said that insensitivity of Shahbaz Sharif can be witnessed that one third of country is swept by floods and premier has left for US. He said that nation will not forget those traitors  who imposed this imported government upon them, accusing incumbent rulers of destroying country economy.

Imran said all sectors of economy were flourishing during his tenure when then opposition along with conspirators toppled his government which he said triggered economic crisis in country.

They run a propaganda campaign against my government with help of their paid media houses that countryeconomy was sinking during my tenure, he said. He said price of electricity has been increased three-fold since PML-N-led government came to power earlier this year. Likewise, prices of other commodities including flour and rice have also witnessed exorbitant increase during last five months, he added. People have been crushed under inflation country’s economy grew at highest rate in 17 years during my tenure, he insisted.

Government has committed an economic murder of farmers, exports are falling, industry is shutting down and unemployment is rising, he claimed. He added no country can prosper without meritocracy.
