KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered to immediately stop construction of six-storey building on 60-yard plot. Orders were passed by High Court on plea moved by an applicant Muhammad Ahmed Hassan. Applicant stated that ground plus five-floor building has already collapsed on same plot.

He urged court to pass orders to stop ‘illegal’ construction on 60-yard plot as several people lost their lives and were injured in past incident.

SHC while expressing stagger on matter ordered to immediately stop ‘illegal’ construction and served notices to DG Sindh Building Control Authority (and Director Katchi Abadi.

Earlier, SHC  ordered to immediately raze illegal portions in North Nazimabad Block-L, Karachi. Lawyer of applicant said that ground plus three-storey building had been constructed and building is constructing fourth floor on residential plot no B165 in North Nazimabad.
