ISLAMABAD: Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Shazia Marri said United Nations ‘Loss and Damage’ fund for countries affected by climate disasters is result of efforts of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. In her message, she congratulated Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on acknowledgement of Pakistan’s stance at World Conference on Climate Change.

She said dividends of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s successful foreign policy in just few months had started coming. “Be it the grey list or global conference on climate change, Bilawal Bhutto is being talked about everywhere”, she added. Commenting on ability of Bilawal Bhutto, Shazia Marri said thinkers of America, Europe and Middle East of every region seem to be appreciating foreign policy of Chairman PPP. She said this is result of Bilawal Bhutto efforts that Pakistan has been removed from UK’s list of high-risk countries.

She said US Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has come to America with a comprehensive plan for flood victims. Bilawal Bhutto led a meeting of world leaders at age of just 33 which is a matter of pride for whole country. She said with successful strategy of young foreign minister ambassadors from all over world visited flood-affected areas of Pakistan. Shazia Marri said visit of United Nations Secretary-General to Pakistan was result of continuous efforts of Bilawal Bhutto and his department. Bilawal Bhutto raised slogan of climate justice to trade not aid and invited attention of whole world towards Pakistan, she said.
