Shazia Marri, others congratulate Murtaza Wahab for winning Karachi Mayor’s election

Karachi: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Central Information Secretary Shazia Marri congratulated Murtaza Wahab on electing as Mayor of Karachi. In statement issued here, Shazia Marri said, “Murtaza Wahab is son of Karachi and he will represent all sections of Karachi. “She hoped that Murtaza Wahab would play great role in development of Karachi. “It has been proved today that Karachi does not belong to any one party but to all of us,” she said. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to elected mayors and deputy mayors of other cities of Sindh. She congratulated Chairman and Deputy Chairman of District Councils and Town.

Meanwhile, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah also felicitated Murtaza Wahab on becoming Mayor Karachi. In twitter message, Sardar Shah termed election of Murtaza as mayor as success of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

It is matter of pride that for first time in 90-year history of mayorship in Karachi under leadership of Bilawal Bhutto, PPP candidate became Mayor of Karachi, Sardar Shah stated. He expressed hope that like Jamshed Mehta, first mayor of city in 1933, Murtaza Wahab would make Karachi  most beautiful city among cities.
