Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy who has always spoken on domestic abuse, women empowerment and other social issues has recently made solid statement against alleged domestic violence against women.

According to media reports, Chinoy has just returned her LSA after making an announcement on her Instagram account. She says that she was quite a vocal person about domestic abuse and she can’t stay quiet when domestic abuser is nominated for latest awards. She announced to return her award. She posted long note on her Instagram.
