HYDERABAD: Sindh Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Memon reached site of breach in Rahuki Distributary and witnessed plugging process of breach. He supervised work to plug breach with help of heavy machinery, irrigation staff and local people.

Sharjeel Memon  directed irrigation authorities to closely monitor Rahuki and Husri Distributaries. He said that in situation caused by recent extraordinary rains, protection of lives and property of people was top priority of government and it will not leave them alone in this difficult time. Meanwhile, he also visited different areas of district and reviewed rain situation. He asked district administration to provide relief to rain hit people and cooked food should be provided to them.
