Sharjeel Memon demands SC to take suo moto on violation of law by Imran Khan

Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that today is darkest day in history of Pakistan as court orders are being flouted. He added that Islamabad Police reached Zaman Park to arrest Imran Khan but he resisted. He reminded that person who use to advise other not to panic, he himself was in state of panic. Talking to media at Sindh Chief Minister House he said no one is above law and court orders should be implemented in similar way on weak and powerful people.
He said that when same Islamabad Police reached residence of former President Asif Ali Zardari to arrest him, everyone witnessed that former President presented himself self with graceful manner for arrest.
‘Former President showed courage and proved to be true political leader. He said that test tube baby, who was artificially brought into politics his legs are shivering today in fear of arrest.
He demanded Supreme Court should take notice of situation that court orders are being flouted as it is an insult to rule of law. He added that message is being spread that there is no rule of law in this country. “Had there been case of arresting a common citizen, police would have shown such restraint.
Would police treat poor man like this?” he added.
These arrest warrants were not issued in any ideological or political struggle, these arrest warrants were issued in case of theft and robberies in Tousha Khana.
