ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's white-ball vice captain Shadab Khan has bagged another accolade after becoming the second-highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in T20Is.

The 24-year-old Khan achieved this milestone today against New Zealand in the ongoing tri-nation series by taking the wicket of Finn Allen, who played a match-winning knock of 62 off 42 deliveries.

With this wicket, Shadab Khan has a tally of 86 wickets in 76 T20I matches surpassing the joint wicket-taking holders Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal, as both the bowlers took 85 wickets each in their career. Legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi currently holds the leading wicket tally for Pakistan in T20Is with 98 wickets in 99 matches.
