Sh Rasheed’s health worsened in Jail, shifted to hospital

Rawalpindi: Health of Awami Muslim League leader, former Minister Sheikh Rasheed has become unwell in Adiala Jail. He has been shifted to RIC Hospital.

According to sources, Sheikh Rasheed was shifted to RIC Hospital due to his sudden health deterioration in Adiala Jail. Full physical examination of Sheikh Rasheed will be done in RIC. Court will summon report of Sheikh Rasheed’s medical examination from Jail administration.

Sheikh Rashid Shafique, nephew of Sheikh Rasheed told that jail administration had informed about deterioration of health of former Interior Minister by phone that Sheikh Rasheed is being transferred to RIC.

Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application in case of May 9 attack was rejected on January 16 and after that he was arrested from Court premises. Former Interior Minister is named in case of arson in office of sensitive institutions.
