Sh Rasheed says President’s tweet opens Pandora’s Box

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League Chief and former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that President Arif Alvi’s tweet has kicked up constitutional and legal storm.

Taking to X Rasheed Ahmed said that President’s tweet had opened Pandora’s Box and muddied political arena. He said that Dr Alvi’s tweet had created big constitutional and legal issue.

Political, constitutional, legal and parliamentary history of Pakistan was witnessing such crisis for first time, he claimed. He said that it was not known when new assembly would be formed, but until its formation, bill would remain stuck. First, he said that news emerged that bill was signed, however, yesterday caretaker Law Minister said it was yet to be signed.

Former Minister said that now let’s see how political wind blows and what would be result of this constitutional crisis.
