Sh Rasheed recovery case: I pardon CPO Rawalpindi, others

RAWALPINDI: Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed appeared before single bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench in his recovery case. Bench was led by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan.

He stated before court City Police Officer Rawalpindi and all these are my culprits. Their faces are included in my arrest. But I pardon them.

Court disposed of petition after Sheikh Rasheed statement.

DSP legal appeared in court. Sardar Abdul Razzaq, counsel for Sheikh Rasheed and his assistant Sardar Shahbaz Khan were also present in court.

Sheikh Rasheed took plea before court this all “Biddat” is created by Punjab police. Court inquired “You had gone for chilla, then how this is biddat of police.”

Sheikh Rasheed said, “Police lifted me first. Then I went to sit in Chilla. Police is at fault in all this situation. They take away children of poor people and then demand money from them. Then they make their videos after violence that they fell from stairs and their legs have broken.”

He said “I went where to sit in chilla they cared for my age. But police did not care for my age”. Court inquired if you want then court summons them. Sheikh Rasheed replied he has forgiven them. However CPO Rawalpindi is not good man.
