However, upon resumption of hearing, Awan asked court to give time close to 12:30pm. While Ali Bukhari, member of PTI’s legal team added that even if prosecution wants to present Fawad by 1pm then they should inform others but it should be “Correct time”.
“Prosecution has been turned into prisoner of conscience, prosecution should be awakened from its sleep,” Awan said.
At this, judge remarked that court staff will inform PTI lawyers about Fawad’s appearance. When deputy superintendent of police legal appeared in court, he assured court that PTI leader will be produced today during court hours.
Upon constant back-and-forth, Judge Raja directed DSP to inform an accurate time when PTI leader will be presented.
“Photogrammetry test of PTI leader has been conducted and medical test needs to be done,” official informed judge.
“Fawad will be presented in court at 3pm,” official said when court pressed him further.
