Security of CPEC/non-CPEC Chinese be made foolproof: IG Sindh

Karachi: Liaison between relevant police and stakeholders should be given importance regarding security of Chinese people associated with non-CPEC projects. Implementation of Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) for security of Chinese people working on CPEC/Non-CPEC projects in province essential.

IG Sindh said cooperation with police vital to ensure implementation of SOP at all levels by all stakeholders. Travel on highways should be made safe for citizens. He directed DIGs of Zone East and Range in this respect. Targeted operation should be accelerated based on information against crimes. IG Sindh said. Anti-crime action should be made successful with hard work, dedication and passion.

Name suspects involved in murder, robbery, extortion, rape, robbery/murder on resistance and other serious crimes and they should be brought under grip of law. Additional IG Karachi along with DIGs of zonal, range and other units, all district SSPs besides SP Foreigners Security Cell and other senior officers participated in meeting.
