ISLAMABAD: Education authorities have released comprehensive school timings for Ramadhan 2025, detailing new schedules for educational institutions across Punjab and Sindh provinces.

Under the new Ramadan school timings, Punjab’s regular schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on weekdays, with Friday classes ending at 12:30 PM. For double-shift schools, the morning session will run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift will operate from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays, the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Sindh’s Ramadan school schedule introduces varying timings for different educational levels.

Primary schools running single shifts will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Double-shift primary institutions will hold morning classes from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by afternoon sessions from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools in Sindh will follow identical Ramadan timing patterns. Friday schedules have been specially adjusted, with morning shifts concluding at 10:30 AM and afternoon sessions ending at 1:15 PM. School administrators must implement these Ramadan timings immediately upon the commencement of the holy month.

The revised schedule aims to facilitate students and staff observing fasts while maintaining educational activities. Parents and students can obtain detailed Ramadan school timing information from their respective school administrations or provincial education department websites.
