Scholars pay tributes to Allama Iqbal

Karachi: Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Salafi Chief Organiser of Jamiat Ahl Hadith Pakistan Sindh addressing seminar at a local hall to mark birth anniversary of poet of the East Allama Iqbal said that poetry of Allama Iqbal is based on monotheism and of ending polytheism and innovations.

Need is that instead of remembering our national heroes only on their special days, we should adopt their teachings and actions so that evil in society can be eradicated and just system of peace and tranquility can be established.  On theme ‘Islamic Services of Poet of the East” Maulana Akhtar Muhammadi Chairman of Qur’an and Sunnah Movement Sindh said that Allama Iqbal’s entire life was spent in reciting poems for country and people and sayings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) are found in his poetry.

In seminar, it was decided to adopt and popularise Allama Iqbal’s thoughts and ideas while paying tribute to Allama Iqbal for his service to Muslims and nation, especially for popularising Islamic teachings pledge was made to follow teaching of Iqbal. Through a resolution, government was asked to make thoughts and ideas of Allama Iqbal a part of Constitution and laws of country in order to maintain and strengthen religious harmony and religious tolerance in country.
